SteveF: No, it has a shared graphics card which will play basic games but nothing too testing. You would need something with a dedicated graphics card such as an Nvidea Geforce or an ATI Radeon.

SteveF: Laptops are specced for different purposes and gaming laptops can be expensive due to the cost of the graphics cards needed to run them. This laptop has a very basic graphics card and will struggle to play anything other than basic games. You would need something with an Nvidea or ATi graphics card with at least 256mb of dedicated memory.

SteveF: It will support a second monitor but if you want a higher resolution for that monitor I would go for something with a dedicated graphics card.

SteveF: Its a six cell and will last around 2-3 hours depending on use.

SteveF: Yes to the card slot, yes to USB as for the photo editing, basic stuff will be fine but anything more and it will struggle as the graphics card is shared by the other system resources and so will fail if pushed too hard.

16-Jan-2009 Skorpi: Pity one gets wrong information, Product summary page says a T7300, then the Tech Spec page says it is a T5450. Still a nice price, but just don't like these kind of things, what else is not as it is on the informationpages.

SteveF: This has been changed but due to web site maintenance this won't show until later in the week. Its a 2.0 core 2 duo processor. Everything else is there as you can check yourself against the spec on the Acer website.
