4-Nov-2008 Noel: What is resolution of screen ? As there is a HDMI port -Does it have TV out ? Believe picture is wrong ! Is there a 6930 with freeview TV tuner ?

david s: The screen will go upto 1366 x 768, the machine does have TV out via VGA connector and will also display through the HDMI connection , there is going to be a model with a freeview tuner but currently not released.

Matt: It is capable of running 64 bit software but it comes with 32 bit Windows.

SteveF: Yes it has the cinedash controls.

4-Dec-2008 Ronan: Does this machine come with a Windows XP downgrade disc?

SteveF: No as downgrading from vista home is very tricky. The drivers for vista home are completely different from the ones XP use. If you contact Acer they maybe able to supply the correct drivers for XP.

7-Dec-2008 Rich: Hi, a couple of questions about the differences between the 151, 214 and 001 models: Which come with a cinedash on the left and which have the number pad on the right? What are the differences between the DVD drives, is the 214 the only model to support Blueray? Do all three models have the same sound output, ie dolby etc? And what system (ie dolby or other) is this. Thanks for your help,

Matt: The 6930 comes with numeric keys, and the 6920 comes with arcade media controls.

8-Nov-2007 Samba: Can you have confirm whether Vista is ok to use now if not so, is it possible to provide Windows XP Professional Downgrade. I'm intereseted to take Vista but I'm jsut wondered this verison is reay verison to use and confirmed by Microsft.

Easycom: Vista now works fine. There is also due a service pack out which will fix all the bugs you have been hearing about.
