16-May-2012 Lins: Can you confirm that this is definately the core i5 model? I thought that the X 5830 T was a core i3, and the X 5830 TG was the i5. If this is a Core i5 what's he difference between the T and the TG models? Thanks

paul: It has a Core i5-2430M (2.4GHz/3GHz/3MB) processor. The "G" in Acer model numbers means it has a dedicated grahphics card for gaming rather than a Intel shared graphics.

17-May-2012 Ben: Regarding Lins's question, I thought that the laptop has a dedicated grahphics card, so why is it listed as T not TG?

paul: The "T" simply stands for Timeline. 5-in-1 card reader (SD//MS/MS-Pro/MMC/xD-Picture cardâ„¢) 3x USB 2.0 ports, 1x USB 3.0 Port
